Laser Test Ranges

Coda Octopus Martech designed and manufactured a series of laser test ranges to automate the selection of key optical components in a production environment.

Each range comprised an 8 meter long tunnel, together with a number of detachable modules for different types of unit under test. The system allowed the unit to be rotated through a range of complex angles, including a laser reflector that is automatically moved along the length of the range.

The ranges were based on a National Instruments PCI rack supported by Coda Octopus Martech designes electronic and mechanical hardware.
