WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHY DO WE USE IT?

We may share your information with any member of the Coda Octopus Group which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries based in the UK, the US, Australia and Denmark. We may also share your information with IT and system administration service providers in the UK and the US and professional advisors including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers based in the UK, the US, Denmark and Australia.

We may also disclose your personal information to regulatory authorities in order to comply with a law or legal request, to address security, fraud or technical matters or to protect our and your rights or interests.

We will not allow any third party outside the Coda Octopus Group to use your personal information for any other purpose than ours.

LOG FILES/IP ADDRESSES

We place a great importance on the security of all information associated with our customers. WHERE IS INFORMATION STORED?

Information that we collect is primarily stored on computers and servers located in the UK. Information submitted by you may be transferred by us to our other offices and affiliated companies in the Coda Octopus Group primarily based in the US.  The staff at these locations may be engaged in delivering your order, processing of payment details and providing support. We take all steps resonably necessary to ensure that your data is protected as all our group companies follow the same rules for processing your personal data.

Occasionally your data can be transferred to reputable third party suppliers who may be based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We may in order to ensure that your personal data is given similar protection as within the EU use template contract clauses approved by the European Commission. 

COMMENTS/SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST

We try to be as open as we can in terms of giving people access to their personal information. Indivduals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a 'subject access request' under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Such requests should be e-mailed to privacy-martech@codaoctopus.com. If we do hold information about you we will:

  • Give you a description of it
  • Tell you why we are holding it
  • Tell you who it could be disclosed to
  • Let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form
