Laser Test Ranges

Coda Octopus Martech designed and manufactured a series of laser test ranges to automate the selection of critical optical components in a production environment.

Each range comprised an 8-meter-long tunnel and several detachable modules for different types of units under test. The system allowed the unit to be rotated through a range of complex angles, including a laser reflector that was automatically moved along the length of the range.

The ranges were based on a National Instruments PCI rack supported by Coda Octopus Martech designs electronic and mechanical hardware.
