Martech wins order from NSPA (NATO Support & Procurement Agency).
We are pleased to announce we have received our first production order from NSPA for multiple electronic test systems to be used in service with field artillery equipment. This follows the successful design and build of prototypes units in 2016.
The new units will replace existing test equipment that was aging. In addition, while the old equipment was very user intensive in operation, the new Martech system has been designed to be largely automated and simple to use whilst significantly reducing the time under test.
Housed in a Pelicase and weighing less than 15kg, the system has been designed to be robust enough to endure extremes of environment and military handling. Designed around a low power micro-controller, the new system is powered by a standard battery giving up to 12 months of battery life between charges. Incorporating self-test modes and storage of test results internally, the new test system provides better accuracy and repeatability from test to test, and eliminates the potential for user error.
